On Friday night last week I got to open the first talk of Mike Dooley's tour of South Africa at the BOE Auditorium at the Waterfront. Over 300 people turned up to hear his talk and it was amazing to realize just how many people are waking up to the power our thoughts play in creating our reality and want to learn more.
Mike is an author first and foremost but his growing success has led him to fine tune his speaking abilities and he gives a really entertaining and highly insightful talk! I have been receiving his Notes From The Universe for nearly two years and love his quirky and humourous approach to unravelling the mysteries of time, space and reality in a way that gives a daily dose of inspiration and reminds you not to take it all so seriously. His seminar "Manifesting Change" was a truly mind expanding and I got so much content and insight from the day and am in awe of how he thinks, reasons and writes. So, you can imagine how stoked I was to be able to warm the audience up with "Going Your Way" and then close the evening with "Shine". Mike has joined my journey as a Future Owner and I now have three teachers from 'The Secret' on that list! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that starting a project to sell an album that didn't exist would result in me sharing the stage with some of the biggest speakers in the world... This is the magic of stepping into the unknown and following a dream regardless of what does or doesn't happen - I mean I wouldn't have missed this unpredictable trip I am on for all the security of a regular pay cheque in the world!
