It was a surreal experience last night to sit down with my special Angel group to watch Journey to the Core and feel like an observer of my life. I am amazed that film makers can dip into somone's life and find a way to encapsulate so much of it in just 30 minutes. The program was really beautifully made from the way they shot each scene, to the script, to the fantastic editing.
I have to admit that all of yesterday I felt pretty nervous about having my story all over national television, but at the end of the show not only was I relieved by how well the team had made it, but also very very grateful for the priviledge of getting to share my story on such an amazing platform. My inbox has been flooded with mails from viewers, sharing their stories and dreams with me, and I feel very connected to this beautiful country today.
I am so happy that I found the courage to chase my musical dreams and the the road I chose has led me to this place where I can share my story and maybe offer hope to others standing at the edge of their dreams and just needing a nudge to take the first step.
I am still walking and most definitely still learning. I think there are many songs left to write and sing and I hope that I will find a way to keep on sharing my vision, passion and truth with the world through my music and words. Thank you to everyone who walks this path with me!
