I had the most amazing birthday weekend surrounded by family and friends and enough love to keep me going for another year! It was incredible to just enjoy having all my special people around and know that they are on this journey through life with me.
It feels fitting that tomorrow night 19th May I will get to settle down with a group of friends and watch Journey to the Core on SABC3 at 8pm and the documentary they have made about my road through life and music so far. It has been a privilege to work with their team and I am looking forward to seeing how they have put it all together. I hope that it will be helpful to others in their own journeys through life and towards living their dreams as I got to share some of the lessons I am learning along the way and what helps me to keep motivated.
