There are three types of unheard people: people who cannot speak due to a disability. People who are afraid to speak in case of looking "out of place". And there are the people whose voices are not deemed important and therefore ignored in their community.
Through the CHAELI CAMPAIGN we aim to open ears and eyes, so that those people who are unheard or are afraid to be heard, have a chance to voice their opinion and claim their place in their community.
Chaeli Mycroft (11years old, future owner #982 )
The Chaeli Campaign is a Non-Profit Organisation that mobilises the mi nds and bodies of children with disabilities. Started by Chaeli, her sister and friends (between the ages of 6 and 12 at the time of founding), they raised R20 000 in just seven weeks to purchase her motorised wheelchair. Youth hath no speed as a young girl mobilised!
I am proud to help sponsoring the monthly costs of them having their own house to run the charity from. You can support them here...click to help
